STEVE PARK

Principal

Steve Park is an active performing and recording artist in Northern Utah. He is principal horn of the Orchestra at Temple Square, which accompanies the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square on their weekly broadcasts and CDs. His solo playing can be heard on many of the choir’s award-winning recordings. He is also principal horn of the New American Philharmonic, Ogden Chamber Orchestra, and the American Festival Orchestra. He plays third horn in the Ballet West Orchestra.

He is one of the most prominent horn players in the worldwide online community. He is a well-known Youtube performer where he has 60 videos of horn solos with piano or orchestra accompaniment. His videos have received “rave reviews” from students and teachers all over the world with over 8000 subscribers.

Mr. Park has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Central Washington University and a Master’s Degree from the University of Utah. His wife passed away in 2020 after 42 years of marriage. He has five children and ten grandchildren.
