Untamed Pops Has Been Canceled

Updated: Sep 11, 2021

With all of the uncertainty about gathering people together in a confined area, even outdoors, I have made the decision to cancel the June 26 Untamed Pops Concert at the Ogden Amphitheater.  Holding this concert would mean putting the members of the orchestra at risk as they gathered to rehearse and perform, something I won’t do, and would encourage unsafe social congregating in the Amphitheater.

As of now we are still planning to open our 2020-2021 season on September 26, 2020 at Peery’s Egyptian Theater.  Whether we are able to do this will depend on how things shape up for social gatherings this summer, and whether the theater management feels that it is safe.

I will keep all of you informed over the summer.  Everyone take care and stay safe.  We will get through this together.

Best Regards,

Michael Palumbo, Music Director
