MARIANNE ROHBOCK

Marianne began her violin studies at the age of six with Karen Child in Utah. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Instrumental Performance degree from Weber State University in 2015 where she studied with Shi-Hwa Wang and served as concertmaster.


She performed with the International Music Festival in Austria in 2013, received runner-up in the 2015 Couer d'Alene Symphony National Competition, and received 1st place in the 2015 Utah ASTA festival. She was pleased to join Chamber Orchestra Ogden in 2013.


Marianne currently serves on the COO Board of Directors, enjoys teaching her music students in the Ogden area and performing with the Tonewood String Quartet. When she's not doing music, Marianne finds joy in homeschooling her children with her husband Geoffrey, reading, and baking treats.
