CIRCE DOPP

Hello! I'm Circe King Dopp (she/they), a luthier, violinist, and teacher from Kaysville, and I love playing in Chamber Orchestra Ogden!

I also teach violin at the Boys and Girls Club of Weber/Davis and repair stringed instruments as the luthier for Riverton Music. I studied violin as a kid here in Utah with KP Peterson and Leonard Braus, both of whom inspired me to audition at Indiana University.

​

There, I got a degree in Violin Performance and String Instrument Technology before moving back to Utah for a 4-year program in lutherie at the Violin Making School of America under Peter Prier and Charles Wolf.

I love violins, reading, driving across the country, and my family: partner Scott, 7 kids, and the queen of it all, Vera the ferret.
