AMANDA KIPPEN POLAND

Amanda Kippen Poland, violist, has been with Chamber Orchestra Ogden since 2014. She has studied viola under Ling Yu, Dr. Kevin Call, and Dr. Michael Palumbo. She has a Bachelor of Music Education from Weber State University and a Master of Music Education from Southern Utah University and has taught in the public schools since 2012, currently at Tooele High School.

 

Aside from working as an orchestra teacher, she also works repairing string instruments, as an adjudicator, and guest conductor. She is originally from the Ogden area and has been cheered on and supported by wonderful parents, lots of siblings, and a loving husband. Her favorite things in life are being an aunt, orchestra teacher, and hearing new viola jokes.
