HILLARY FULLER

Principal

Hillary has been principal bass of Chamber Orchestra Ogden since 2019, and in addition to sitting principal chair of the Salt Lake Symphony, she is also a substitute member of the Utah Symphony and Ballet West Orchestra. 

Other notable ensembles include the CCM Philharmonia, Starling Strings Chamber orchestra, Utah Philharmonia, Eutiner Festspiele Orchester, and Orchestra at Temple Square, and she has performed under the batons of Mark Gibson, Aik Khai Pung, Kurt Sassmanshaus, Dr. Robert Baldwin, Arthur Arnold, Jared Oaks, Mack Wilberg, and Ryan Murphy.

 Hillary has enjoyed performing in countries around the world including Germany, Austria, Italy, China, and Canada. She would love to go back to these places, if only for the food. 

After completing a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Utah studying under David Yavornitzky, Hillary went on to complete her Master’s Degree at the University of Cincinnati studying with Albert Laszlo. 

Aside from the bass, she also enjoys hiking, playing the piano and ukulele, and teaching music theory.
