Cory Jensen received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Weber State University and his Master’s Degree from Western Governors in Science Education. He has had the unique perspective of teaching in both the arts and the sciences. From his early career teaching Instrumental and Choral music, to his later career teaching Physics (and sometimes both), he has found ways to fuse the arts and sciences together.
He currently serves as the school's Instructional Coach where he strives to help teachers become better educators. In 2018 he was given the Telitha Lindquist Genier Excellence In Teaching Award, and in 2019 was named the Ogden School District Teacher of the Year. He has a passion for finding ways to engage students and make difficult content attainable for all. As much as he loves his job, he loves coming home to Clearfield to spend time with his wife and 5 daughters even more.
