Ally began taking violin lessons because her parents wanted to motivate her brother to practice more. Despite her lack of natural talent, she quickly passed her brother’s level because of her consistency in practicing. She fell in love with the instrument and worked hard to gain the skills and ability to earn a full scholarship at Weber State. She studied under the phenomenal tutelage of Peggy Wheelwright, Karen Child, and Shi-Hwa Wang.
Ally enjoys playing inspiring music that touches hearts the way words can’t. She married her best friend, has two beautiful children and enjoys running, hiking, camping, mountain biking, and spending time with her family.
