ALEXANDRIA STOKER
Alexandra Iverson Stoker started playing the violin when she was five years old and began teaching violin lessons at age 14. She was certified as a Suzuki Violin Teacher in 1999.
Alexandra received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Weber State University in 2004. She taught orchestra at two junior high schools and five elementary schools in the Davis School District and at the Montessori School in North Ogden.
Alexandra performs with Chamber Orchestra Ogden and has played in the Wasatch String Quartet, New American Symphony, Lincoln Symphony, All-State Orchestra, Weber State Symphony Orchestra, and the 2002 Winter Olympics Orchestra which recorded all of the anthems and performed in the Olympic closing ceremony. She has been on performance tours to China and Taiwan.
She teaches violin lessons in Harrisville Utah where she lives with her husband and three children. She also enjoys reading and hiking in the mountains.
